Purpose of STEP
STEP organizes public information and educational resources to support discovery and informed conversations about clinical supervision. STEP is not a regulator, education provider, employer, health-care provider or emergency service.
Supervisor profiles
A profile is not an endorsement, referral, credential verification or promise that a supervisor is eligible for your particular program, registration status or purpose. Confirm identity, standing, qualifications, services, availability, fees and fit directly before entering an arrangement.
Educational information
STEP resources provide general information and organizing frameworks. They are not legal, regulatory, clinical, academic or financial advice. Requirements can change and may apply differently depending on your circumstances.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website to impersonate another person, submit unlawful or misleading material, interfere with service security, collect profile information at scale or send confidential client information through public forms.
Memberships and billing
Paid features require STEP Admin approval and a valid membership for the selected account role. The price, billing interval, applicable taxes and current cancellation terms are shown before checkout. Access may be paused when a payment is incomplete, past due, unpaid or expired. Cancellation does not erase account or application records that STEP must retain for legitimate operational, security or legal purposes.
Affiliate spaces and verification
Affiliate access is a separate, no-cost pilot entitlement for approved participants and does not include STEP paid-membership benefits. Eligibility may require institutional email verification or a limited manual review. Affiliate spaces are operated independently by STEP; listing an institution does not represent its endorsement, branding partnership or administration of the service. Alumni supervisors must also complete STEP’s normal supervisor review before appearing in a directory. Access may be declined, suspended or removed when eligibility cannot be confirmed or these terms are not followed.
External links and services
Links to regulators, supervisors and other organizations are provided for convenience and context. STEP does not control their content, availability, policies or services. Your relationship with an external provider is separate from your use of STEP.
Availability and changes
STEP may correct, update, reorganize or remove website content and features. Information may become outdated between profile updates. If a decision depends on a detail, verify it with the person or organization responsible for that information.
Regulatory questions belong with the regulator.
CRPO determines its registration, supervision and professional practice requirements. STEP cannot confirm compliance for an individual.
